Apply for KALW radio internship by April 14

Do you have questions to ask, and stories to tell? Do you love going behind the scenes, and learning how things really work? Are music and sound a big part of your life? If so, the KALW Public Radio summer internship for high school students is for you!

Spend your summer getting paid to make audio stories for radio and podcast with some of the most creative journalists in the country.

You’ll work 20 hours a week Monday through Thursday in our NPR station located in the back of Burton High School.

Internship runs from June 7 to July 21, 2017. Pay is $13/hour for June and $14/hour for July. Friday workshops provided by SFUSD give you five elective credits.

To apply, complete this online application by 5 p.m. Friday, April 14. KALW staff will select interns the week of April 24. Participants must be able to attend a human resources day on May 3 or 10.
