Step to College Program is Accepting 11th & 12th Graders for Spring 2017

Attention Current 11th & 12th Graders:

 

Step to College has 17 available seats to fill for their Spring 2017 Course- ISED 204 Critical Thinking & Decision Making.  

 

What is Step to College?

 

It is a high school college preparation program that is sponsored by San Francisco State University.  Abraham Lincoln High School is one of their partner high school that offers two college courses on our campus.  The two college courses are FREE to students.

 

Fall Course- Orientation to Education (3 College Units)

Spring Course- Critical Thinking & Decision Making (3 College Units)

 

This nationally recognized program allows high school Juniors OR Seniors to experience taking college courses for FREE that will help them learn vital skills on how to improve their skills and be motivated to graduate & attend college.

 

How do I apply?

 

Attached to this message is this semesters course syllabus and electronic application.  Read the syllabus to learn about the course.  Complete the electronic application by typing in the information, print it out and sign it.  Turn in Complete applications to Ms. Maria Martinez, Counselor in Room 149 by no later than February 3, 2017.  Ms. Martinez will on accept applications with typed in information, so do not hand write the information or she will ask you to re-do it.  If you have questions e-mail Ms. Martinez at martinezm5@sfusd.edu
