Senior Awards Night Ceremony: Thursday, May 24, 2018, 6pm in the Auditorium *If you receive any scholarships/awards, please notify Ms. Thieu in room 149, so you can be recognized at this night. Deadline: May 7th

Senior Finals: Wednesday and Thursday, May 30 and 31, 2018

Senior Sunset: Thursday, May 31st Ocean Beach, 7pm *More Information to come


Graduation Rehearsals: June 1, 4, 5 at 9am *All Seniors are required to participate

Senior Clearance Forms Due on Friday, June 1, 2018 by 4pm to the Senior Class Counselor

Cap/Gown Pick up, Friday, June 1, 2018, 1pm in the Cafeteria *Seniors will receive their cap, gown, tassel and graduation medallion that day

Graduation Ticket Pick Up: Friday, June 1, 2018, *All Seniors will be issued 4 guest tickets for graduation admittance; one ticket admits one guest. Under special circumstances, additional graduation tickets may be issued by Principal, Ms. Balisi. Requests must be made in writing no later than Tuesday, May 29, 2018.

Senior Dinner Dance

Alright fellow human beings that attend Abraham Lincoln High school who are seniors. This dinner and dance is for YOU and you only. So NO guests, NO underclassmen. Just YOU.  

Tickets are $25.  Includes dinner of pulled pork sliders, brisket, and wings with veggie sides like garlic noodles salad and coleslaw.  Dance with DJ Hightop (An SF Favorite).  Other activities will be available for those who do not feel the dancing.  Its a great chance to celebrate with the community that has grown with you and around you.

Our ticket sales are a little bit different this year. We will be handing out number tickets in the morning from 7 to 7:30. The people who get a number will be able to purchase a ticket that day after school. (about 100 or so the first day) if you do not get a ticket, then come the next morning. We are selling the 22, 23, 24, 25 (the 24-25 dates are not permanent. If we sell out before then, those dates will just be normal school days). Remember, we only have 250 tickets available. 

Dance contracts are in front of the cage!  All you need is a contract and your ID and $25 cash or check for $25 made out to ALHS.

Business Academy Seniors participated in a Bay Area Semi-Regional Business Plan Competition with NFTE.

ALHS Digital Media Design (DMD) Academy Students Participate & Perform at KQED's Youth Takeover Live Event on April 27th

Congratulations to Digital Media Design (DMD) Academy Students for Placing in the 2nd Annual DCYF Nutrition Poster Contest!


DMD Senior Daisy Kwok won 2nd Place (receiving a $125 prize!) for her design called "The Exploding Fork of Nutrition" for the high school age group (ages 15-18)! 

DMD Junior Keana Wong won 3rd Place (receiving a $75 prize!) for her design called "San Foodcisco" for the high school age group (ages 15-18)!

The DCYF Nutrition Poster Contest this year was highly competitive since they received many entries. Congratulations Mustangs!

Architecture Foundation Competition Winners - ALHS Won All Prizes!

ACE 3 competed against Lowell HS, Lick Wilmerding and Burligame HS in the yearly design competition. Each group created a model and plans for a Potrero Hill Community Center.  ALHS won all!

Biotech Students Attend a Job Shadow Event at Clovis Oncology

The ALHS Biotech Pathway is proud to be able to work with local companies and research institutions to both bring in speakers and provide students the opportunities to visit various institutions who work in a number of science related fields.  The 2nd year students recently got the chance to attend Gladstone, a world renowned research institution that partners with UCSF to see research in action.  In addition, two smaller groups got to hang out at Clovis Oncology, a company in SF that does groundbreaking cancer research, and at UCSF, meeting with Dr. Newberry, who does work related to Alzheimers.

Over spring break, 23 students from our Japanese program received the opportunity to go to Japan for 7 days, thanks to the Kakehashi Project, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. Check out their blog at to learn more!

The team of DMD Academy juniors Justin Aguirre, Jonathan Chan, & Alex Hutchinson were the winners of the High School Video Piece Category. Their team worked hard in creating an amazing video!  Their team will get a $300 gift card for the video entry!

The biotechnology pathway at Lincoln is proud to announce a partnership with Rare Genomics, an international nonprofit organization that helps families pursue personalized research projects for rare genetic disorders by providing access to cutting edge research technologies, physicians, and scientists across the globe. Sixteen of the students in the 2nd year course will be working with physicians and other professionals to help link affected families and individuals with local and international resources with the goal of developing treatments or cures for specific rare genetic disorders. Lincoln Dragon Boat

Lincoln Dragon Boat had a great weekend competing at the 2018 CDBA
Youth Race. This is our first time entering nine crews to race -

4 mixed, 2 girls, and 3 boys - five of which made it onto the podium -

4 golds and 1 bronze. We are excited to continue our strong performance
and expand the horizon of paddling in the Bay Area. Congratulations to
all high school teams who raced and for their accomplishments.
