- TODAY Is The Pink Day Of Silence - The GSA (Gay Straight Alliance), Lincoln students, staff, faculty and administrators are silent and wearing pink to bring attention to the name-calling, bullying and harassment of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning students and their allies. This day is dedicated to Lawrence King, a 15 yr. old student from Oxnard, CA, who was shot and killed in class on February 12, 2008, by a 14-yr. old classmate because of King's sexual orientation and gender expression.
- Applications for Journalism Are Due TODAY - (by the end of the day) to Mr. Owens in room 212. Mr. Owens
- Prom Ticket Selling Procedure - Seniors get cleared by Ms. Falls with your book clearance form signed and an ID. Have your guest clearance form filled out if you have a guest. You will receive a number to purchase your ticket(s) at the cage. Juniors get cleared by Ms. Eng with the same procedure as the seniors. Only 50 numbers will be given out per day. - Prom Reminder - All students wishing to purchase prom tickets MUST HAVE A BOOK CLEARANCE FORM indicating that your library and textbook accounts are up to date. Be sure you have returned all library and textbooks that are OVERDUE (books you no longer need for current class work) or, begin making payments on lost books. Ms. Gallardo
- The Varsity Gold Show Choir Will Present - its 13th Annual Gold Show TONIGHT at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. The show will also feature a couple of Mustang performers, as well as San Francisco Soundwave and the boys from Berkeley "Noteworthy". (These guys are good!) A very entertaining show will be staged all for the price of $10 for adults and $5 for students.
- The Class of '09 Will Have - Polly Ann's Ice Cream Day on Friday, May 9th ALL DAY. It is located on the corner of 39th Ave. and Noriega St. Come get your ice cream and put your receipt in the Class of '09 receipt box. This is the last junior fundraiser of the school year. Please support our class.
- Congratulations To The Flynn Brothers - for winning the round 7 challenges for Health Idol. Steven Flynn has the top score for balance and John Flynn scored the highest for health knowledge.
- Come To Great America This Weekend - See the AAA Dance & Cheer Champion Mustang Cheerleaders perform during Great America's Dance Days. Come and support your cheerleaders.
- Yearbook Applicants - Come to room 214 to sign up for an interview appointment. You must sign up by Friday.
- Juniors: There Are A Few Fee Waivers Left - for the SAT & ACT in June, but the deadline is coming quick. SAT deadline is May 6th and the ACT is May 9th. See Ms. Zales in the College/Career Center before they are all gone. . . save $$ and get a fee waiver!

- Seniors: Did You Miss the CCSF Orientation Class This Week? - You have one more chance to take this class, as it will be offered again in May. Students who complete this orientation class will receive PRIORITY REGISTRATION when choosing classes for summer and/or fall. You will also receive FREE TUITION this summer! See Mr. Edelman in room 123 C for more information about the orientation class. Meanwhile, you should take the English and math placement tests at City as soon as possible. Call 239=3124 to make an appointment to take the tests, or just show up on any Saturday morning before 9:00 a.m. in Conlon Hall, room 101. Do not be late, as they close the doors promptly at 9:00 a.m.!
- Panoramic Pictures Have Arrived - If you ordered one, bring your photo ID with you to the cage on Tuesday at 12:00 noon during lunch before 4° to pick yours up!
- Book Clearance Forms, Guest Clearance Forms, Prom Court Applications - are available outside of the cage. Pick them up if you plan on going to Prom. Prom Court applications are due April 28th. More information is on the application.

- Do You Want To Get Paid To Be An Environmental Educator & To Work With Younger Kids? - Apply for an internship with Teen Environmental Action Mentorship. Interns will attend a one-week training in August, and will then work one afternoon per week next year after school. Free transportation to and from Lincoln and the Marin Headlands Institute in Sausalito (just across the Golden Gate Bridge). It will be fun, exciting, rewarding, and great for the college applications! Open to freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Check out this amazing opportunity.
