- New Grading Period/New Cut List! - This new cut list is for Prom and all the senior events: senior picnic, senior dinner/dance, and senior breakfast. STAY OFF THE CUT LIST EVERYONE!
- Brotherhood/Sisterhood Evening Performance - will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20th. Tickets for the performance will be $10 for adults and $5 for students and alumni, $3 for Lincoln students with a student body card and free admission for faculty, staff and children 12 yrs. and under. Tickets will be sold at the door ONLY.
- Brotherhood/Sisterhood T-Shirts & DVD's - are on sale and pre-sale orders are being collected now. T-shirts are $8 and DVD's are $10. If interested, please place your name on the list which is located in the main office.
- Class of 2010 - Don't miss a great opportunity to be a part of an Academy. Go to room 227 to pick up an application for Finance or Information Technology.
- Remember, If You Need 2 Letters Of Recommendation From A Counselor - and/or teacher for a job, internship or scholarship, remember to ASK kindly and give the recommender 2 weeks to write it. There are many students asking too last minute! Time management and organization are key, or you might not get a good letter, if you get one at all.
- Do You Want FREE Food? - The SNBC Spring BBQ is coming up on Wednesday, March 26th, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. and it's free!!! It's going to be at the Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center, 3925 Noriega St. Come to the Wellness Center for a flyer in the information binder.
- Do You Want To Develop Strong Reading Comprehension? - San Francisco State University's college of extended learning is offering summer sessions to learn approaches to reading, studying, and note taking. This program is for students in the 9th thru 12th grade. Come to the Wellness Center for a flyer in the information binder.
- AP Art History - There will be no placement test. Interested students may sign up in room 147. All are welcome.
- Lincoln High Blood Drive Is Friday, March 21st - All students need signed permission sheets to give blood. See a Red Cross representative in homeroom or Mr. Crotwell in Bungalow 14. Faculty members do not need permission sheets and receive head of the line privilege.
- Are You A Legal Aficionado? - Do you dream of arguing and winning the big case? You can find out what it is like to be an attorney, investigate, and take to court a controversial case and win. Sign up for public speaking/mock trial and start your legal career next year.
- AP English Testing - All students who wish to be considered for AP English next year need to be in the library after 7° for testing on Tuesday. We regret testing a second time. Any student who needs to make up the English Honors test should come also.
- Want To Be A Model? - Audition to model 2008 prom fashions. The fashion show will take place during half-time at the Gladiators competition on April 3rd. Pick up an application in room 225.
- Are You Artistically Inclined? - Interested in participating in a fun community arts project? The Imagine Bus Project (in conjunction with the 3rd Street Youth Center) is looking for students interested in photography, painting and drawing to collaborate in designing a series of posters for bus stop shelters throughout San Francisco. - Korean-American Author An Na - winner of the Printz Award will be meeting with the Korean Club at lunch on Monday, March 17th in room 201. Korean Club members are expected to attend. Lunch will be provided.

- Yearbook Ads - There is still time to purchase an ad in the yearbook! Talk to Mr. Sylvester in room 214 or a yearbook staff member immediately to get more information. Get your ads or pictures in as soon as possible.
- Attention All Seniors! - If you have not purchased a panoramic yet, this is your last chance. Pick up an order form outside the cage and return them (with correct change) to Ms Kenny-Baum in room 143 Last day is Monday, March 17. $18(with frame $30).
- Nothing To Do Over Spring Break? - Take a break from video games, the Internet and TV by doing something productive like volunteering or visiting a college campus. You can still sleep in, and go to the mall AFTER. Take a friend along. Get involved in your community. Tips available in room 123C.
- Juniors: Get A Head Start - Prepare for the UC Personal Statement. Come to the lunchtime workshop with PACT Advisor, Ms. Zales, on Wednesday, March 19th in room 127. Be prepared to take notes and ask questions about this essay requirement for the UC application. Please be punctual.
- Earn $1500 (Fifteen Hundred) This Summer - as an intern in the field of your choice! Enterprise for High School Students offers paid summer internships in architecture, graphic design, publishing, performing arts, law, government policy, social work, child development, veterinary medicine, nursing, nutrition, pediatrics, orthopedic surgery and more! For current juniors AND seniors. Pick up an application in the College Career Center (Room 123C) or download an application at www.ehss.org. Click on the application form for the "Career Exploration Program". You will need one letter of recommendation. Application deadline for Lincoln students is March 21 (even though the website says March 14). Applications must be RECEIVED by March 21. You may turn your application in to College Career Center.
- Do You Enjoy Card Games? - Now you can learn to play Bridge - the most exciting and challenging card game of all. Expert bridge players will teach and guide you. The first meeting of the new Lincoln Bridge Club will be in the cafeteria this Wednesday, March 19th, during 7° and after school until 5:00 p.m. FREE pizza will be served!
- Forensic League - meets in room 303 at lunch.
- English Conversation Club - meets during lunch in B-4.
- CSF - will not meet TODAY so that Show Choir can hold its fundraiser in the library for St. Patrick's Day. Wear green but the meeting will be on Tuesday at 12:00 noon.
- Brotherhood/Sisterhood International Potluck Dinner - will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the cafeteria on Thursday, March 20th. All faculty and staff (and family) are welcome to attend this dinner. There is no cost for this dinner. We encourage you to come and celebrate our diversity and unity as a Mustang family.
- Brotherhood/Sisterhood Assembly Procedures - You should have received TODAY a memo regarding procedures for BSA including a seating chart. 3° teachers, please review this memo with your students before Thursday, especially where they are to sit. For those teachers volunteering to supervise during Assembly A or B, you will be notified on Tuesday where you can best help us. If you have any questions please contact either Mr. Aluk or Ms. Kamkar.
