  • THEFTS - Beware, the PE locker room tieves are at it again! Please do not leave any Valuables in your PE lockers
  • BSA First Rehearsal will be Thursday - immediately after 7th period (1:15 p.m.) in the Auditorium. All participants must attend or risk losing spot in BSA. Plan on staying until 5 p.m. Student Activity passes will be distributed at this rehearsal.
  • BSA Deadlines - Wednesday, March 13 Copy of Music (if applicable), name of food item for International Pot luck dinner and banner due to Mr. Aluk. See Mr. Aluk or Ms. Kamkar with any questions.
  • Class of 2009 - homeroom meeting on Thursday
  • Brownies/Cheesecake orders - wil arrive on Thursday and can be received after school in Room 171. Because items are to be refrigerated, it is very important that all orders be picked up on Thursday. We do not have enough space to keep these items refrigerated. See Mr. Aluk if you have any questions.
  • If you are between the ages of 14 & 17 - and would like to volunteer 40 hours at the 42nd International Children's Home from July 10-15 you can complete an application at www.sficg2008.com/youth. You will also need to do a personal statement. For more info see Mr. Scott. K. Scott
  • There is Tutoring available through San Francisco State University's BSU - Call Erin at 818-515-6401 to let them know you are coming. If there is not a better response to the program it will close. Take advantage of this service. There is also SAT tutoring available as well.
  • Congratulations to Christian Calub and Jsymel Tiongson - who both participated in the Junior and Senior National Weightlifting championships; winning a gold and bronze metal respectively.
  • The Math/Go Club - will meet on Friday this week (March 14) to celebrate Pi Day. Join us for contests and pie!
  • Next Year's Juniors and Seniors - Why do we dream? Is there a collective unconscious? Sign up for psychology now with your counselor or see Ms. Kaufmann in Room 205 for details.
  • Congratulations to Steven Flynn - for winning the Health Idol lung capacity challenge.
  • Attention all Clubs - Lincolnhigh.net is going to add pages just for clubs. Send a club representative to a short training session this Thursday, March 1 in room 225 after school
  • AP English Testing - regretfully we need to repeat testing for AP English. Please come to the library after 7th period on Tuesday, March 18. Make-up for honors English should also come.
  • Students who are not in Ms. Lui or Mr. Fang's Chinese class - but wish to take Chinese Primary Language Arts honors or AP Class next semester should go to room 130 to pick up an application form.
  • Advanced Architecture - do you like to draw and design buildings? Sign up for Advanced Architecture I or by permission.
  • AP Art History Applications - in room 147. Open to all students.
  • Attention All Sophmores! - Be part of small learning community earn money in an internship and get college credit by joining the Teacher Academy. Teacher academy applications are due Friday March 14th at B8 or 225
  • Fellowship Club - is selling Easter grams for $3 each. The deadline to order is Tuesday, March 18, Go to room 320 or go to any fellowship club member/ officer to order.
  • Senior Flashback - Do you have pictures of memorable moments from your four years have at Lincoln? Submit them to your yearbook in Room 214 or email them to ALHSyearbook2008@gmail.com Send your pictures in now because its first come first serve. Your photos must include names of students and a description of the action
  • Attention All Seniors! - If you have not purchased a panoramic yet, this is your last chance. Pick up an oder form outside the cage and return them(with correct change) to Ms Kenny-Buam in room 143 Last day is Monday, March 17. $18(with frame $30)
  • Earn $1500 (Fifteen Hundred) This Summer - as an intern in the field of your choice! Enterprise for High School Students offers paid summer internships in architecture, graphic design, publishing, performing arts, law, government policy, social work, child development, veterinary medicine, nursing, nutrition, pediatrics, orthopedic surgery and more! For current juniors AND seniors. Pick up an application in the College Career Center (Room 123C) or download an application at www.ehss.org. Click on the application form for the "Career Exploration Program". You will need one letter of recommendation. Application deadline for Lincoln students is March 21 (even though the website says March 14). Applications must be RECEIVED by March 21. You may turn your application in to College Career Center. H. Meet with a rep from Wyotech this FRIDAY, March 14, during LUNCH in Room 127. Find out what it takes to be a fully trained mechanic. Learn about programs, costs, financial aid, job placement, and expected salaries. Campuses in Oakland, Fremont, Sacramento and Long Beach. All students are welcome to attend this presentation. H.   • Attention Football Players - There is a short meeting after school on Thursday, March 13. Please be on time. The meeting is in the south gym boys locker room.
  • St. Patrick's Day Luncheon - hosted by the Varsity Gold Show Choir will be held in the Library on Monday, March 17 for $5. Please sign up in the Main Office to attend. There will be a drawing for prizes for those who wear the color green.
  • BSA Information - Next Monday you will receive an important memo from ASB with specific info regarding BSA, which is to be discussed with our students. A seating chart will also be included with this memo. A copy of this memo will be posted in the Main office this week. Beginning this week, we will be taking orders for BSA DVD's for $10 and BSA T-Shirts for $8. We also hope that many of you will attend the International Potluck Dinner on the day of BSA. This is open not only to all Faculty and Staff, but also family members.
  • Does any teacher need - a comfy loveseat, oversized chair or pretty wicker chair w/matching coffee table for your room? Please contact the girl's PE office for delivery or two check out these items. J. Clark
  • Thank you from the Chinese Club - Thank you to the audience, volunteer workers including graduates, and our excellent officers for working together to make the Chinese Club 10th Annual Karaoke Contest successful! We are honored with the recognition from State Senator Leland Yee. Our participants were delighted with the presence and support of Principal Pang, Assistant Principal Payne, Mrs. Yee, Ms. Walenta, Ms. Buchanan, Mr. D.   • Attention all club Sponsors - We are adding club pages to the website. Each club will be able to clubs and a picture. Please send a reliable representative to a short meeting after school on Thursday, 3/13. V. Zeigler
  • St Patricks Day - faculty and stuff luncheon hosted by the varsity SoCal Show Choir will take place on Monday in the library. Pasta, salad and bread will be in the menu and a drawing for "Irish" prizes will be everyone wearing green . If you would like to attend, please sign up in the main office
