We gotta want it to win it, and we want it more!!!! Yay YAY! Lincoln High's Girl's soccer was second in its division, just one point behind O'Connell. We were a much better team as everybody who saw our games knew. We were unlucky enough to be up against a strong goalkeeper on the other team, but we tried our best and fought hard the whole time. We'll get them next year! And I must add, that while many other teams played by elbowing us in the ribs, tripping us and bumping us over we Mustangs played fair, clean and we are without a doubt, THE BEST SPORTS OUT THERE!!! That is a very important part of soccer, and we should all be proud of our Lady Mustangs for keeping their cool through even the worst situations. Also, I must acknowledge the BEST COACHES WE COULD EVER HOPE TO HAVE, listed above. Special thanks to our adopted Mustang assistant coach for wanting to be a Mustang, and for always being there for us. And we can't forget about our other assistant coach, Mr. Lawnmower!!! He was the one who personally cut the grass himself, then painted on the lines for us, too. It was extremely generous of him to do that for the team, and we thank him very much for doing so. And HUGE props to the captains and co-captains. Seniors, we will all miss you very much, so you better come and visit us next year. It was an awesome season, and we gave it our all. Just wait till next year, we're in it to win it, and nothing can stop us from bringing home the championship trophy next year! GO MUSTANGS!!! Also, when you see one of the Lincoln girls soccer players, check out our awesome new sweatshirts! We have our nickname and jersey number on it, and of course our TEAM CHEER!!!
