Lights On Afterschool Photo Contest

This year, the Abraham Lincoln High Afterschool program entered the Light on Afterschool Event Contest and won the first place for the category of "Effectively supporting English Language Learners."

The photomontage below is the photo submitted.

2014 Annual Lights on Afterschool Event

Every year, all afterschool programs in the country celebrate their achievement and their students and community.

This year, our program decided to create a montage constructed by all the street signs from all program participants' neighborhood. The complete work (shown below) represents the notion of how all students and staffs , from different neighborhood, all come together as one community within the afterschool program.

This work is still in display downstair in the Teacher Lounge.
